Imagine if your whole team were influencers for your brand. Every voice, every story, every person contributing to what your company stands for. Social media works best when it is not just one person posting. It works when everyone has a voice and feels proud to share what happens behind the scenes.
This week’s action step: Get your whole team involved in social media.
Your goal: build visibility and an authentic employer brand that grows from the inside out.
How to do it in one hour
Host a team meeting.
Bring everyone together, from the cleaning staff to management.
Announce that you want to make the company more visible and show what you stand for.
Keep it open, fun, and creative.Ask for ideas.
Go around the room and ask:What moments from your workday could we share?
What makes you proud to work here?
What would you love people to see about what we do?
What kind of content do you enjoy on social media?
You will quickly see who enjoys sharing ideas, who likes being in front of the camera, and who prefers to support from behind the scenes.
Make it clear: not everyone has to show their face.
Some people will love to appear on camera. Others will prefer taking photos, writing captions, or collecting stories. The goal is contribution, not performance.Assign small roles.
Examples:Someone takes photos of daily work
Someone writes captions
Someone posts updates
Someone gathers content ideas for the monthly recap
Rotate the roles regularly so everyone gets involved and stays engaged.
Create a shared idea folder.
Add a folder called Social Media Ideas in your Marketing drive. Let everyone drop photos, clips, or short stories. This becomes your creative hub for company visibility.
What you gain in the first week
Real stories from real people that build trust
Fresh content without extra workload
A stronger company culture and sense of pride
Visibility that attracts clients and talent alike
Pro Tip
Keep it fun. Run a light-hearted contest such as “Post of the Month” or “Best Behind-the-Scenes Moment.” Encourage humor and creativity. Your audience will feel your energy online.
